Robert Pfeffer
Wins ARRC
American Road Race of Champions
D. J. Race Enterprise
Road Atlanta in Braselton, GA
saw one of the best TCC races of its existence.
The Corvettes took to the track at 2:00pm on
Saturday Nov. 12th with a furry of action. The
D.J. Race Team qualified with Danny
Kellermeyer in 2nd, Robert
Pfeffer in 6th, Jonathan
Pfeffer in 12th. Joe
Cauley started at the back of the pack
with the #39 C5 racecar. Jeff gave up his seat
to son Joe so he could have his first race in
Atlanta.
The race started clean but was
interrupted by two full course cautions caused
by cars in other classes. As the race restarted
Danny got caught up
in a fender bender, which flattened the front
tire. Robert drove a
consistent, fast and smart race keeping it clean
for his first ARRC win Joe
Cauley drove to a 2nd place finish in
the prepared class and Jonathan
drove to a great finish of 2nd in the traditional
class. “These two young men have absolutely
impressed me this year”, says team owner
Danny Kellermeyer. “From the first practice
to this last race both freshmen drivers have
not driven beyond their skill level and have
concentrated on each driving move”.
The results of the 2005 season were unbelievable.
The fourteen races resulted in the following
stats:
| Podium Position |
86% (12 races) |
| Podium 2-Positions |
72% (10 races) |
| Podium 1st Place |
64% ( 9 races) |

Wins GLHSS Championship
“National Council of Corvette Clubs”
D. J. Race Enterprise
The National Council of Corvette
Clubs (NCCC) started a Great Lakes High Speed
Series (GLHSS) in 2004 with three tracks and
24 events. This season the series increased
to seven tracks and 48 events and many new drivers
of which Danny Kellermeyer was one. Consistent
driving allowed him to win 84% of these events
and win the championship.
“Even though we support
many Corvette clubs and I was the guest speaker
at the 2004 NCCC Convention in Las Vegas, I
wanted to be a part of this Championship Series.
It was excellent Competition and gave us a new
venue for our race team. Corvette owners are
passionate about their racing and the performance
products they use. We were pleased to be a part
of this great new exciting series."
