Robert
Pfeffer Captures 2002 Championship
|
American
Road Race of Champions
D. J. Race Enterprise
Robert
Pfeffer captures the season championship by performing an
excellent run at Road Atlanta. This American Road Race of
Champions concluded the racing season and determined who
was going to be the champion for 2002.
The
D. J. Race team had the Championships 1st and 2nd place
well in hand, but it was not known if Danny Kellermeyer
or Robert Pfeffer would prevail. After qualifying only a
tenth of a second apart, the race started. Danny went for
the kill as he lead out to capture the lead while Robert
played the calculated race strategy and fell in behind Danny.
The plan worked as Danny experienced engine problems while
trying to make the pass for the lead. Robert went on to
a podium second place finish and captured the overall TCC
Championship.
The
team celebrated Robert's 1st and Danny's 2nd championship
finishes and once again the team remains at the top of TCC
Racing.

Touring
Challenge for Corvette Races
D. J. Race Enterprise
This
2002 racing season for the Touring Challenge for Corvettes
has seen a new era as the D. J. Race Enterprise team arranged
a special Hospitality area at each of the race events.
"Corvette
enthusiasts have totally enjoyed the race weekend",
says Danny Kellermeyer, President of D. J. Race Enterprise.
"We are thankful for all the great comments at the
track and are amazed at the magnitude of e-mails received
commenting on the team sprit, the ability to enjoy the racing
first hand, and the helpful Corvette information on hand.
"Everyone loved the large screen slide and movie show
and the evening Seminar. We would play in-car camera action
after our practice, qualify and replay the race played prior
to the seminar. We have already had the existing hosting
Corvette clubs as well as new clubs ask to be a part of
the 2003 events".

"Thanks
a lot for the great weekend. You, your wife and the rest
of your crew run a first class operation and it really shows.
The fan involvement weekend was a great idea", says
Ed Kulbis of the Beachcombers Corvette Club. "I know
that every Corvette Enthusiast that parked in the corral
and visited your trailer was truly amazed with your operation.
The time you take to talk to people is just outstanding
and I know it is hard when you have to race, but you and
Robert are just awesome people".
Each
event provided Corvette enthusiast with a unique Corvette
Corral paddock parking area, snacks and food at the team
transporter, and an evening seminar tailored to each club
and track event. Each race hosted parade laps at noon to
allow Corvettes to see and understand first hand the track,
where they would later watch the TCC race. This unique idea
of "Fan Involvement" has added excitement and
continues the Corvette sprit and enthusiasm in a complete
personal manner.
