Kellermeyer wins the TCC Championship
2004 Season Championship

The D. J. Racing team once again won the 2004 Touring Challenge for Corvettes Championship. Danny Kellermeyer won the championship with a great drive through out the year. This is Danny’s 11th champion-ship and his 4th TCC title. Robert Pfeffer joined him on the podium with a 3rd place position.

Danny put his Cauley Chevrolet Hawk Goodyear racing Corvette in the victory circle 5 of the eleven races and was in the top three 8 of the races. This consistency is what it takes to capture the top spot, and this is what has been the forte of the team.

The teams race miles on the track this year totaled 7,635 miles. This type of on track time takes a lot of prep and you have to pay attention to details to make it all happen. The crew did an excellent job in keeping the cars in race form at all times, and using the best products and components makes the race cars reliable and fast. A winning combination.

Touring Challenge for Corvette Races

D. J. Race Enterprise

The D. J. Race team ends the Touring Challenge for Corvette season at the American Road Race of Champions at Road Atlanta.

Qualifying found Danny Kellermeyer in 2nd, Robert Pfeffer in 4th and Jeff Cauley in 6th position. Danny Kellermeyer lead the race from lap 1 and never looked back with fast and consistent laps. He not only won the race but broke the track record which had been previously set by teammate Robert Pfeffer.

The D. J. Racing 3-car team of Robert of Indianapolis, IN, Danny of Ortonville, MI and Jeff of West Bloomfield, MI had a great season and are planning on racing together next year for the 2005 season.
